How to perform a bench test

A bench test is a test to ensure a device works as specified. A bench test for your Fly6 Generation 3 device is to check the life of the battery.

To perform a bench test:

1. Format your SD card
2. Disable Idle mode and Incident protection mode via the CycliqPlus mobile app or desktop app
3. Under “Set device time” set the time to computer
4. Set the “Video segment length” to 10 minutes
5. Select “Format SD card”
6. Fully charge your device (LED will turn green when battery reaches 100%)
7. Once fully charged take note of the time that you start the test
8. Place the unit on a flat surface and switch it on

   Note: We recommend turning off the LED lights so you can find out how long the battery lasts in Camera only mode

9. Let the battery drain fully and note how long this has taken
