Common troubleshooting issues

Use this page to resolve common issues within the CycliqPlus app for Windows and Mac.

CycliqPlus was unable to download FFmpeg

Please check your internet connection and try again.
The required component FFmpeg is missing, check your internet connection, restart CycliqPlus and try again.

CycliqPlus requires an internet connection to install the FFmpeg component to view and edit footage from your Fly device. If your Windows or Mac computer is not connected to the internet or if the CycliqPlus app does not have permission to access the internet you will see this prompt.

Ensure your computer is connected to the internet and that CycliqPlus has permission to access the internet and try again.

Advanced troubleshooting for Windows

If this prompt persists you can manually install the FFmpeg component that CycliqPlus can use, follow these steps:

  1. Close CycliqPlus
  2. Download the FFmpeg component files (Windows only), it is strongly recommended to install both when manually installing FFmpeg
  3. Extract the ZIP contents to the following path: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\CycliqPlus\Components
  4. Open CycliqPlus
