In the CycliqPlus app we’ve made the video editor more robust and easier to use. Our goal is for you to share the footage that’s important to you whether it’s showing off your efforts with activity overlay, or highlighting a close pass with tramlines.
Importing Videos
You can do this in a couple different ways:
- Open the video editor by clicking Create Video
- Click Import Video and select a video using Finder (MacOS) or Windows Explorer (Windows).
You can also drag and drop your video from Finder, Windows Explorer or elsewhere, into the CycliqPlus window once you have opened the video editor.
OR
- From the Devices page of the app, select your Fly device
- Choose a video from the Footage page
- Click the pencil icon in the bottom right of the video player to open it in the video editor
Metrics Overlay
Import activities by connecting Strava, importing a .gpx or .fit activity file, and watch your activity metrics overlaid onto your footage. The overlay preview in the editor is now faster than ever! Just add your videos and watch your stats back or show off to friends.

Tramline Overlay
Add your footage and show a tramline at your configured distance to see how close a pass really was.

Video Export Settings
There are several options you could change before exporting your video depending on whether you want a high quality clip, or you just need to export some footage.
- Toggle the Cycliq Bumper clip on or off
- Set your Export Quality, or select maximum (lossless) to determine what your export will be based on your video
- Change your Export Frame Rate
- Speed up or slow down an export with Export Speed
- Enable or disable GPU Processing
- Mute Export Audio so your final video has no sound
