The new CycliqPlus Beta makes overlaying tramlines straight forward and easy.
Select a video
You can do this in a couple different ways:
- Open the video editor by clicking Create Video
- Click Import Video and select a video using Finder (MacOS) or Windows Explorer (Windows).
You can also drag and drop your video from Finder, Windows Explorer or elsewhere, into the CycliqPlus window once you have opened the video editor.
OR
- From the Devices page of the app, select your Fly device
- Choose a video from the Footage page
- Click the pencil icon in the bottom right of the video player to open it in the video editor
Turning tramlines on
With your video in the editor, all you need to do to see the tramlines is;
- Open Tramline Overlay
- Turn on the Tramline option
Configuring your tramlines
Based on where you are in the world, different rules may make different tramline distances more relevant. We’ve added 1, 1.5, and 2 meter settings. All of these distances are calculated based on your settings configured in the Tramline Calibration dropdown. The tramline distance is measured from the widest part of your bike, for which we use the Handlebar Width. Camera height is the height of your camera lens above the ground, and Offset from centre is the distance between the centreline of your bike and the centreline of your Fly device. For best results your camera should be level to the ground!
Exporting and sharing
After you’re happy with the video in the editor, you can adjust your export settings in the Video Export Settings menu, and when you’re happy click the Export Video button.
You’ll be able to grab the file from your file explorer afterwards, or watch the video back in CycliqPlus!
