Mornington Madness

Clinton’s Story – Victoria, Australia

Clinton was riding in an organised ride in the Mornington Peninsula when a driver decided to ignore the signs and cut part of the group off, causing a crash.

When the driver approached his driveway he intentionally braked suddenly and without warning. This caused riders to go down and the drivers response to this was anger. The driver yelled at the cyclists for riding on his road, but once he realised how badly hurt some of the cyclists were he began to apologise.

“The driver passed the tail vehicle that clearly stated that it was an organised ride, ambulance vehicle and mechanic vehicle then he passed us” said a member from the group.

Fortunately, Clinton had his front-facing Fly12 bike camera recording the entire incident.

The footage didn’t just tell the story — it proved it. So much so that the police took action and the driver was charged with dangerous driving.

Why Recording Matters

Clinton’s footage was submitted to the authorities and became a key piece of evidence. It would have been difficult to take any action without it.

When things go wrong, video gives you the power to show exactly what happened. And when drivers know they might be recorded, they’re more likely to think twice before making a dangerous choice.

Feel safe. Record your ride.
